BRAZIL — Lucia knows the importance of missions and has a desire to share the gospel with those from her native country. The Kennedys have been called by the Lord to serve in Brazil and share the gospel.

Jack (Tim) and Lucia have a burden for the people of Brazil; to give the gospel to the lost, to disciple people in the faith, and to work to develop national servant leaders. Tim graduated from Cincinnati Bible College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Mission and Education. In 1996, he completed a Master of Arts degree in Practical Ministries/Pastoral Counseling at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary. Tim has served as an adjunct professor at the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, and is a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor. He is also an ordained minister and has taught in church since he graduated with his bachelor’s degree, serving as church counselor, and previously as the senior adult leader. Tim made a career of working in the criminal justice system and is a trainer for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, as well as for the Ohio Community Corrections Associations. Lucia was born in Brazil and came to know the Lord under the ministry of a missionary from the United States. She has always worked in the church and has served as church pianist, children’s church teacher, women’s ministries secretary, and senior adult leader. Lucia knows the importance of missions and has a desire to share the gospel with those from her native country. The Kennedys have been called by the Lord to serve in Brazil and share the gospel. They have a strong desire to mentor and assist Brazilian nationals in the Great Commission. Having always worked closely together, Tim and Lucia know that in order for them to be obedient to the Lord, they must work from a team approach. Tim and Lucia Kennedy
